It's learned that with a total investment of 280 million yuan, the new non-staple food market, covering an area of 32,622.42 square meters and a total building area of over 148,000 square meters, lies between Xicheng Road, No.2 Road of the Agricultural Products Trade City, the new market is a multilayer frame structure building which includes three floors of main building and part of the building is five floors. The dealing area which contains 1752 booths of 15 to 16 square meters lies on the first and second floor, which is mainly involved in the trading of non-staple food, dried fruit, sweets, alcohol and wine, drinks, grocery, etc. Factories direct sale center and fine product exhibition center lie on the third floor where offices for large businessmen and service like restauants are located.
Part of the fourth and fifth floor is for the offices of supporting service agencies such as taxation bureau, bureau of industry and commerce, financial department, meeting centre, market management and property managemnt. The underground and the roof are designed for parking lots with around 2500 parking spaces. Two flyovers stand respectively at the south and north side of the market near Xicheng Road through which cars can reach directly to the market on the second floor, the business area on the third floor and the parking lot on the fourth floor.
The building is expected to be fully completed at the beginning of September and put into use before 2008 Yiwu Fair. Qualification auditing will begin after the recruitment scheme being discussed is appoved.
