Yiwu public security group of Public Security Bureau gained second-class merit
A few days ago, Wang Huizhong, the member of provincial standing committee, secretary of politics and law committee and head of public security signed the order to give Yiwu public security group of Public Security Bureau second-class merit with certificate and money award.
From April, 2008, Yiwu Public Security Bureau was called by many citizens that there are some smugglers to Burma to gambling and they are arrested illegally and been bad treated. So the public security group set up the cross border anti-gamble team to investigate the case. According to mass relative people, hard to obtain the evidence, long time crime and many places, all the staff has more than 20 meetings to analyze the situation and they encourage reports and check one by one to find a clue for a couple of crimes. They inspect the details of the smugglers whether they are arrested, the reason and the place and find the suspects real ID and hiding places. They come to Fujian, Guangdong and Yunnan for more than 5 time and 10 areas to rescue the hostages and catch the criminals. After a tough of half year work, they detected that Fang XX, the police supervisor organized the stealing and made provincial supervisor Chen XX as a smuggler and Fang XX’s stealing cross borders. 50 criminals have been arrested and 69 hostages are released. It is a heavy strike of cross border gambling crime and a positive effect for safeguarding the security of society stably.
