The founding meeting for committee of Yiwu branch of China Democratic League was hold in Zhijiang hotel yesterday. The first list of members of the branch committee was elected in Yiwu. Xu Xiangdong, the deputy committee member in Zhejiang province, Tong Xiangti, Yiwu’s director of NPC, Yang Linzhang, the chairman of CPPCC, and Zhao Guorong, the committee member and minister of the United Front Work Department attended the meeting.
For the pass four years after the League in JInhua city which was under Yiwu was established, it strengthened the organization development and carried out the man power strategy. All the members are over undergraduates, including 10 masters and doctors, and are a high quality and intelligence team.
It is important for the direct under league of Yiwu upgrade to Yiwu branch committee in Yiwu democratic politics constructions. And it is the sixth primary organization of democratic parties after the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomingtang, China Democratic National Construction Association, China Association for Promoting Democracy, agriculture and industry, and Jiusan Society.
