MAGIC， the largest special fair of clothing and fabric in the world held annually in Las Vegas，USA，will come off from August 24 to 27 this year. It is learned that 25 Yiwu enterprises such as Langsha Group，Weihai Zippers，Bangjie Knitting Wear，Sanding Group and Shaungjia Clothing，participate in the fair and show their products. And the Yiwu group will lead other Chinese exhibiting groups in exhibition area and scale.
Seeing that Yiwu is China’s manufacturing base for socks & stockings，shirts and seamless underwear，the sponsor of MAGIC agreed that Yiwu Chamber of International Commerce could apply for exhibition booths directly to the sponsor. That’s why the scale of Yiwu exhibition group is the largest in its history of participation in fairs held abroad. And it is also the first time that Yiwu enterprises attend the fair in group.
According to the information from Yiwu Chamber of International Commerce，the exhibition is considered a good chance to open American market after the US Subprime Mortgage Crisis by Yiwu socks & stockings，shirts and seamless underwear manufacturers. It is introduced by representatives from Langsha Group and Mengna Group who have participated in the fair before that the fair is very good for Chinese enterprises as it offers plenty of opportunities to develop new customers and it gives Yiwu enterprises a good chance to obtain fresh orders. According to someone from Yiwu Chamber of International Commerce，the smallest order of some purchasing wholesalers is a quantity of 2400 pieces for each kind of garments. Mostly orders are placed directly with suppliers in Asian countries like China and India. Therefore， this fair is the one that gathers the largest number of Chinese clothing and knitting enterprises among other fairs held abroad. Another reason why MAGIC attracts Yiwu enterprises is that the fair only accepts professional visitors and is popular among American clothing，fabric and accessories dealers.
