On the morning of 2nd August, 2008 Jinhua Fine Fruit Fair is opened at the Jinhua Stadium. Over 400 fruits produced in different places have attracted thousands of citizens to sample. At the fair the different fruits have attracted numerous citizens to sample and purchase. The agricultural enterprises make full use of the business opportunities to market the excellent types of fruits and fine fruits. Sources say that there are 450 fruit samples and over 80 exhibiting enterprises at the fair, including pears, pineapples, dates, figs and the like. Yiwu has sent over 70 types of fruits in the five categories to the fair. Many brands of Yiwu fruits have been entitled golden medals of Fine Fruit.
