Shanghai Railway Bureau will adjust its train running
diagram in accordance with the unified arrangement
by the Ministry of Railway as of January 11,2011 .
Shanghai Railway Bureau will add 22 pairs of passenger
trains,with 17 pairs CRH bullet trains numbered
with “D” and 5 pairs of ordinary-speed trains . These
17 pairs of newly-added bullet trains include 13 pairs
of long-distance trains to the directions of Chengdu,
Chongqing,Wuhan,Fuzhou and Xiamen,and 4 pairs
to the directions of Hefei . The other 5 pairs are to the
direction of Shijiangzhuang and Shenzhen. The previous
4 pairs of trains between Shanghai and Chengdu and
2 pairs between Shanghai and Chongqing will keep
running . According to the new train diagram by the
Ministry of Railway,there will be 12 new pairs of bullet
trains running on the Shanghai-Nanjing high-speed
railway,10 new pairs running on the Hefei-Wuhan PDL
passenger dedicated lines),and 14 pairs running on the
Hefei-Nanjing PDL.
