Of all the 16 enterprises, 62.5% has attended the exhibition for three consecutive years,18 .75% for the second time and 18.75% for the first time .
Entering the fine products exhibition hall Frankfurt International Exhibition is an important platform for Yiwu enterprises to develop the European market . Zhang Jinping, general manager of Wenyuan Stationery Co., Ltd -one of the 16 enterprises, said that the financial crisis will change the present situation a lot and may bring opportunities as well and that Yiwu enterprises should try to make use of the opportunity for their further development . Take his enterprise for example, they moved to Asian Fine Products Exhibition Hall this time, competing with international famous stationery brands such as COMIX and DELI . Moving to the Fine Products Exhibition Hall gave Wenyuan a new opportunity to meet the high-end customers they never had the chance to meet before and build a road to develop the high-end market .
Establishing stable relations with old customers Yiwu Dandelion Greeting Cards Co . ,Ltd (DGC)also attended the Frankfurt international fair . Liu Huimin,responsible for the company,felt the influence of financial crisis upon the non-daily necessities such as greeting cards and paper bags .
“The shrink of purchasing power leads to the decrease of orders” he said . Recently some businessmen with large order quantity have had great loss due to the euro devaluation . Now almost all the businessmen in all industries reduced the order quantity .
But in Liu‘s mind the initiative is on his hands as long as he comes out instead of waiting at home . “Searching for new customers could make up for the loss of orders from old customers .” It is learned that the Dandelion has explored the European markets all these years and their customers have spread all over Europe . On this trip to Germany the company leaders not only developed some new customers, but also most importantly visited several old customers to whom they paid great attention . It is one way to overcome
hardship and seek new chance for many Yiwu enterprises to attend fairs abroad and visit old customers .
Increasing trade opportunities Statistics from the hosts Frankfurt company initially showed that the customers of this fair were mainly from Europe,and the customers from other areas such as North America,South America,Japan and Russia were less than that of the past, who were a great proportion of the participants in previous years . But the purchasers of this year were still professional and nearly three quarters of the professional participants in the fair were managers or executives, which laid sound and direct cooperative foundation between them.
Survey showed that the Yiwu businessmen not only demonstrated the company image, promoted the new products and learned the design philosophy of over seas famous enterprises,but also knew the development trendecy of industries in the Frankfurt international fair, which could be utilized in production and development to improve the grade of products and make brand construction.
