AsofJuly21 , 70 percent of the exhibition booths of the 15th China Yiwu International Commodities Trade Fair (Yiwu Fair for short)have been booked by enterprises of various industries . Presently , guaranteed booths are being arranged and allocated booths are to be arranged in late July . The 15th Yiwu Fair will be held from October 21 to 25 as usual ,but for the first time it will be in the newly-built Yiwu International Exposition Center .
Sources say this 2009 Yiwu Fair will setup5, 000 international standard exhibition booths in the new exhibition hall, which amount to 140,000 square meters in the area, covering over 10 industries, including cultural & office supplies, sporting & recreational goods , toys , knitwear accessories, clothing, shoes &hats , arts & crafts , articles for daily use , fashionable ornaments ,crystals & glassware , cosmetics , cases & leather products ,hardware & machines , electrical appliances , automobile accessories , and service & trade . With the use of the new exposition center ,temporary exhibition halls won 'tbesetupanymore. According to the introduction by the staff members concerned , 1 ,699 enterprises have applied for 3 , 362 booths as of July 21 .
What is different from previous years is that there will be no fine commodities exhibition hall this time and all booths will be allocated to different areas in accordance with
the industry they are in. Altogether there will be 14 exhibition areas on the 1st, 2nd floor and ground floor .
Here is the layout of the exhibition areas：
GF ：Exhibition Hall B and C are for crystals & glassware;
D is for government-organized groups and service & trade;
and E for government-organized groups .
1F ：Hall A1 is for hardware & machines and automobile accessories; B1 for electrical appliances and automobile accessories; C1 for fashionable ornaments and arts & crafts;
D1 for arts & crafts; and E1 for in- ternational exhibits , knitwear accessories, clothing, shoes and hats .
2F ：Hall A2 is for cultural & office supplies; B2 for toys ,sporting & recreational goods , and cultural & office supplies; C2 for cases & leather products and cosmetics; D2 for daily necessities and Mountainous and Coastal Areas Cooperation Project; and E2 for daily necessities .
