2009 China Yiwu Stationery & Arts Trade Fair (Cultural Expo) will be held from April 28th to May 1st in Meihu Exhibition Center. Up to now, 205 enterprises enroll to attend the fair, with 402 booths being reserved.
The fair is co-hosted by the Cultural Industry Department of the Ministry of Culture, Social Management Department of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, Publication Management Department of General Administration of Press and Publication, Cultural Department of Zhejiang Province, the Radio & Television Bureau of Zhejiang Province, Press and Publication Bureau of Zhejiang Province, China Stationery & Sporting Goods Association, and Zhejiang Cultural Industry Promotion Committee, supported by the Trade in Service Department of the Ministry of Commerce, and undertaken by CPC Yiwu Municipal Committee and Yiwu Municipal People’s Government. Exhibition for trade, conference & forum, as well as festival activities will be the main activities of the Fair. Economic and Trading function are the bases of the Fair, and the trade of cultural product trade is the core..
With “The trading of cultural products and the development of cultural innovation ” as its theme, the main targets of the Fair are as follows: Setting up 1500 international standard booths; Attracting over 60 thousand professional visitors, of whom over 4,000 are from overseas; Attracting more than 30 trade delegations; Realizing trade volume of 1.8 billion yuan, with foreign trade business volume over 50% of the total. With the rule of “set rows in the exhibition and assemble of the same kind”, the main Hall will be set properly according to the categories of the commodities. The fair covers 5 categories including cultural & stationery goods, sports & entertainment goods, arts & handicrafts, creative exquisites and paintings with1500 booths. (Hannah, Lilly)
