He sold his non-slip mat to the fourth largest agent in the field in the U.S. Yiwu Oukazi Cosmetics Co., Ltd., which specializes in middle and high-end cosmetics, explorted its market in the Middle East after attending the exhibition of Beauty World Middle East held in Dubai in June Last year. The Charm of South American market reflected by Housewares & Gift Fair South America held in Brazil in August appealed to Niu Dejun, manager of the Foreign Trade Department of Yiwu Chengxin Ribbon Co., Ltd. Displaying and promoting products at overseas exhibitions, especially wellknown international exhibitions, has become an important way for Yiwu enterprises to enter overseas market and enlarge their export volume.
Seeking business opportunitiees all over the world

According to statistics, in 2010, Yiwu Internaional Chamber of Commerce organized 409 Yiwu enterprises to attend 63 overseas exhibitions in a total of 625 exhibition booths in Europe, America, Middle East, Africa and South America, involving all industries. Most of the exhibitions are well-knowen specialized exhibitions in the world, such as Christmas World, Paper World Beauty World held in Frankfurt, Magic Show in LasVegas, U.S., Cosmoprol in Bologna, Italy and Mega Show Part 2 in Hong Kong.

Exploiting new market, Strengthening traditional market

Yiwu Zhizun Art Carpet Mill Co., Ltd., which attended Expocomer for the first time, received a large order of I container on the first day. Wu Zonggun, depty manager of Yiwu Foreign Economic & Trading Co., Ltd made an on-the-spot investigation of Brazilian market during his stay of Housewares & Gift Fair South America. As a member of the BRICs, Brazil's economic development has been prosperous. Many Yiwu enterprises expect a lot from the last new market in Central and South America because of Brazilians' fashion-forward consuming idea. In 2010, thirty-eight Yiwu enterprises found business opportunities in Central and South America by attending the two exhibitions.

It is learned that most enterprises attending overseas exhibitions involve industries like office supplies, clothing and shell fabric, beauty & Cosmetics, gifts, etc. Yiwu-made products became more and more influential as well.
