The Urban Transportation Development Co.,Ltd, which regards as commissioned research units of Yiwu freight index held a lead in organizaing an expert consultation Yiwu freight index on November 12th in Hangzhou, it discussed the changes, “General Report of the Transport Price Index of Yiwu”(discussion paper). Ministry of Transport, the Provincial Transport Department, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the provincial transport and logistics enterprises Authority more than 10 experts participated in the consultation.
During the expert consultation, experts from various fields had a deep and detailed discussion in the framework of Yiwu freight index system, data acquistion and operation mode, the experts fully affirmed the research topics of Yiwu frieght index and considered the the accuracy of structural system Yiwu Freight Index , clear, scientific organizational structure index mode of operation, reasonable, but in the index collection, reporting and other key areas to pay attention on the ways and means, choosing the right collection of objects, the quality control data to ensure data authenticity. Meanwhile, the Yiwu freight index to focus on the sustainability of business model, the government set up the stage to promote, market operation, that made the index has vitality.
In accordance with the work plan, Yiwu freight index is expected to be the trial run in late November in Yiwu, and is scheduled official release in January 2011.
