Fine farm products from Taiwan are to be exhibited

The People’s Government of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Provincial Forestry Department and Taiwan Affairs Office of Zhejiang Province attach great importance to the exhibition of fine farm products from Taiwan, which is treated as an important cross-straits exchange activity this year. Lou Guohua, chief of Zhejiang Provincial Forestry Department
and Chen Xiuxian, Deputy Secretary of CPC Yiwu Municipal Committee headed a delegation to Taiwan to hold about 10 promotion meetings for the Yiwu Forest Fair in April. On June 12, when Lu Zushan, Governor of Zhejiang Province, was visiting Taiwan, the Organizing Committee of China Yiwu International Forest Products Fair and Nantou Farming Association signed the Cooperation Contract on Exhibition of Nantou Forest Products in Yiwu Forest Fair.

Farming and forestry enterprises of Taiwan have great enthusiasm for the exhibition. Nearly 200 enterprises with 400 booths will be in the exhibition. Both figures have doubled over last year. Lots of famous fine farm products with special features in functional development, cultural innovation and package design are in the exhibition, such as Jinmeng kaoliang spirit, Nantou high mountain tea, Dong Ding oolong tea, Riyuetan mush room, pineapple cake, organic rice, cypress art from Ali Mountain and so on. Some well-known people of Taiwan such as Yok Mu-ming，Chairman of New Party, and Ding Shouzhong, Chairman of Cross-Strait Development and Research Foundation, will attend the opening ceremony of Yiwu Forest Fair and other related theme activities, to advertise for Taiwan farm products in the mainland of China.
