Simon is not so much a business man as a hospitable host. He extended his hand to greet every passing by guest added in Mandarin: Try this Ethiopian coffee,it's delicious!
One volunteer in this fair told me that, Simon was in favor of noisy environment, he had been made several pots of coffee to greet guests in one morning.
Simon was not nervous for the language barrier,he would dance out what he wanted to say if he could not express what he meant. And the funny gesture always let the guests laugh happily.
Smart Zambian traders 'My friend, this is 20% off, you should buy it.'The Zambian Daniel took the hand of one purchaser to scrape up an acquaintance to him,and then promoted his products to him. This purchaser answered with a laugh: "My friend,you should give me a cheaper price."
"Beauty,do you like it?"Daniel didn't miss any communicating chance and rushed up to meet a pretty girl standing in front of his booth". This is for 100 Yuan.""Cute guy, what about 50 Yuan?"Daniel immediately realized the girl was a better bargainer than him and extended his hand to hold the girl's: "Beauty,you can have it for 80 Yuan,we are friends."
This Korean is always ready to smile Mr Han could only speak a little simple Chinese, so he took his smile as his "magic weapon", and attracted lots of purchasers to negotiate with him.
"sterilization"", beauty treatment"", Humidifiers "Just staying in fair for two days,Mr. Han has learnt several Chinese words,and felt glad to learn and correct the pronunciation from purchasers.
Look in other people,this way of communication is too much difficult,fortunately most purchasers interacted with Mr.Han calmly. I think perhaps it is because of the shining smile Mr.Han gave to people,the magic smile kept many hurried paces.
