In last few days, some exhibition enterprises from Yiwu have been interviewedon the spot of Zhejiang Investment & Trade Symposium (ZJITS)andChina International Consumer Goods Fair(CGFAIR). In the Exhibition Hall 4 of CGFAIR was Yiwu Huiyun Ornaments Co.,Ltd,which hadparticipatedin the yearly exhibition for seven times .
"Our company's new products in the exhibition include several newly -developed series of children's ornaments andalloy ornaments," saidthe workers . "All these new products are aimed at the developedcountries in US andEurope ."
In recent two years,the export enterprises have been challengedby the increasingly serious situation,which was caused by the constant rise in the value of RMB,policy adjustment in the national export tax rebate,the American subprime mortgage crisis, etc . Exhibition is an important platform for an enterprise to display its new products, so enterprises shouldtake as many
opportunities as possible to exhibit,especially in the period of export trade depression, said Zhao Guanxia when talking about this problem, who was in charge of all the booths of Yiwu Yunhui Ornaments Co . ,Ltd. In this CGFAIR ,Yunhui 's products mainly targetedthe market of developed countries . It was learned that despite a big increase in the cost of products this year, their quotations have not shown much growth so far .
Another Yiwu enterprise in the Exhibition Hall 4 of CGFAIR was Yiya Arts & Crafts Manufactory, whose main products were
handicraft shoes,advertisement bags,andgift bags made from polypropylene . The person in charge from the manufactory said
that they were also going the way of combining E-business with exhibitions,but comparedwith Ebusiness, exhibitions made communications much easier.
In the Exhibition Hall 8, Zhejiang Dragon King Case CO., Ltdhada double-deck exhibition booth . Boardchairman Shao Baoling said,in spite of the difficult situation in the foreign trade this year,their export business has not been even slightly affectedand the orders are too many to deal with . Undoubtedly, this has much to do with the enterprise's emphasis on the products' quality as well as the rapidly-developed new products .
In this ZJITS, four Yiwu enterprises have signedcontracts with those from Hong Kong andT aiwan. The value of this contractual foreign investment accounts for one -fourth of Jinhua's total . The four contracts that have been signed cover industries like new and high technology,textile,zipper,andnon-staple food. Three of them concern foreign-funded projects .
To make full use of ZJITS for foreign-orientedpublicity and attracting investment, Yiwu set out to make preparations for ZJITS as early as the beginning of this year . Some people concernedthink that the implementation of these projects will have a positive influence on furthering the adjustment of industrial and economic structure, promoting the transformation andupgrad ing of enterprises, andaccelerating the steps of economic andsocial development .
