All food wrap films to be marked The Food Wrap Film Standard was officially implemented on December 1, which could make the range of application known to customers . According to the new standard, the food warp films should be marked “for food” and the PVC films should be marked “keep away from fatty food” , “no microwave heating” and “not
used at high temperature” .Ifthe films could be used in microwave heating, they should be marked “microwave heating” , the heating methods and the highest temperature .
Specialists said that consumers should pay special attention to the mark on the wrapping for the range of application after the implementation of the standard .
Many food standards implemented at the same time The Disposable Plastic Tableware Technical Requirements lays down requirements for some properties of the disposable plastic tableware such asheat, oil, anti-leaking, load performance and microwave heating resistance . It also requires that all the disposable plastic tableware, such as lunch boxes, plates, knives, forks,spoons, chopsticks, bowls, cups,bottles, pots and straws, should not be marked “degradable”, because degradable tableware does not necessarily mean envi-
ronment-friendly products .
Specialists said that the implementation of the standard would bring an end to the embarrassing situation of the lunch boxes . The Sports Beverage National Standard defines the sports beverage as quickly-absorbed drinks which could provide water, electrolyte and energy for sportsmen or men engaged in physical activities . The quick absorption into the body is emphasized for the first time .
