On July 14,the initiation ceremony for anIndian businessman Sushil Marodia was held at the office of Yiwu Cultural Goods Industry Association by the vice-chairman and secretary-general of the association . Sushil became the first foreign businessman in Yiwu Industry Association . He said that this could not only strengthen his communication with fellow traders in Yiwu and even in the whole country but also help seize more business opportunities .
Sushil is the sales manager in China of Indian CRI Tips Co .,Ltd . He was engaged in commodities purchase at the beginning when he arrived in Yiwu in 2001 . And he gained great fame in India for the commodities he bought from Yiwu . He made many Indian businessmen know Yiwu,the largest commodities wholesale market in China,and they followed him to do business in Yiwu.
In 2005,he was invited to be the sales manager in China by the Indian CRI Pen Tips Co .,Ltd and he set the headquarters in Yiwu without hesitation . In his opinion,the radiation power of Yiwu market was strong . It is Yiwu that gathers most Chinese and foreign businessmen and so,only in Yiwu could the pen tips have the best promotion . As expected, he sold the Indian pen tips all over the country and now every month he sells over 20 million pen tips .
The relation between Sushil and the Cultural Goods Industry Association is very close . They would informSushil when they paid a visit to markets in other areas and this made Sushil know many a fellow trader and provided convenience for his product promotion in China,said Luo Junxiang,vice secretary-general of the association . He said that the association gave him much help and with their help he became a member of the association .
Sushil said that Yiwu was very tolerant to foreign businessmen and he would make good use of the association to strengthen the trade communication between India and Yiwu.
