"There are lots of differences between China and Australia!" Sitting comfortably, Keleni and Emily began to talk about their impression of China, and about the differences between the two countries.
There are more people and more cars in China. "China is so big, with such a large population! That was my first impression of this country." Keleni's voice faded while Emily said, "There are more and more cars in China, and the roads here have three or four traffic lanes in the same direction; at home only the freeways are that big. In Melbourne, every family has at least one car, but the population is much less than China. In the suburbs the streets are mostly empty." Chinese people wash first and eat second in the morning. "I got to know that Chinese people always wash and brush their teeth first when they get up in the morning, then they have their breakfast.
But normally Australians do it the opposite way," Keneli pointed out. Huange said in a nod, "This is our habit; we always wash first and eat second." The climate in China is kind of dry. When mentioning China's climate, Emily made a funny face. "It's very dry here, we are not used to it." Keneli added that Australia climate was a lot more temperate than China's.
"There are so many differences between China and Australia!" The two little Australian girls and Huange chatted very congenially.
They lay together in bed laughing from time to time.
The unique experience of Yiwu Market In the afternoon of March 31st, with the guidance of their teachers, twelve Australian kids walked into the world-famous Yiwu International Trade Market."What a large market!" they exclaimed as they stepped through the entrance door. A wide range of commodities made them look here and there, with great curiosity.
In the shopping area, the kids browsed and picked up commodities with great enthusiasm. Some guys cheekily showed off their Mandarin learnt from their Chinese friends the previous night. "How much is this?" The shopkeeper was willing to answer each query. " I've seen many foreigners in this market, but it's rare to see a bunch of blonde, lively, lovely little foreigners!" he said.
An excited girl said, "Many things in our markets back home are made in China, but I didn't realize that there is so much stuff I've not seen before". The next moment she picked up a Chinese paper fan, and then she took a silk embroidered handkerchief, appreciating them with great delight.
Outside the market, self-satisfied smiles could be seen on the kids' faces.
It seemed everybody found exactly what they had wanted!
